Rio de janeiro photos

Photo of the sugar loaf from Urca hill (210 meters high), Rio de janeiro, Brazil.
To reach the sugar loaf we have to take two cable cars. The first one leads to Urca hill and the second one to the final destination, the sugar loaf (396 meters high). The journey is exciting and specatcular.
This day the weather is beautiful and the air is clear, Rio de janeiro is perfectly enlightened by the sun, it is simply gorgeous.
By the way, do you know why it is called sugar loaf ? It is said that this granite hill has the shape of the moulds used in the past for sugar cane. Also, in portugese sugar loaf is pronounced pao de azucar which is phonetically close to the name given by the indians: Pau-nh-Acuqua (high hill).
