Threadfin butterflyfish

Scientific name : Chaetodon auriga
Hawaïan name : Kikakapu

The threadfin butterflyfish is carnivorous, it feeds on mollusks it hunts in the coral reefs. Its body is white with black stripes, the rear is bright yellow. Its eyes are underlined by a black line. We can notice that the black stripes on the body are not in the same direction as the ones on the rear.
