Yellow tang

Scientific name : Zebrasoma flavescens
Hawaïan name : Lau'i Pala

The yellow tang lives in lagoon where corals burst and garanty its everyday food as it feeds on seaweeds that grow on coral.
The yellow tang generally lives in solitary or in small groups. It is one of the brightest fishes of the hawaiian reef as it discloses a bright yellow body.
As all fishes of this familly, the spines of the yellow tang are sharper on the caudal fin.
